When I was first contacted by Oscar and Rosie’s, I have to admit I was surprised a vegan-friendly pizza restaurant opened up without my knowledge. I am perpetually on a quest for the best slice in town, so how on earth did this little Nottingham based restaurant open up under my radar? Well, as soon as I knew about them, I made immediate plans to visit and stuff my pizza loving face. Oscar and Rosie’s is right next to the covered market in the centre of the city, on one of the recently renovated side streets that flanks the new market park. It’s a fairly quiet street at the moment, but with all the new development taking place, hopefully it will soon be buzzing with restaurants and pedestrian footfall. The restaurant itself is in a small, open, bright restaurant with just a few communal tables. It’s very casual – you seat yourself and order at the bar.
